COMMERCIALIZATION OF CAUCASUS ACTIVE LONGEVITY RESOURCES

For Caucasus countries the important industry is tourism. Except the beauties of nature and cultural varieties, architectural monuments, mineral waters, there is one more advantage of the Caucasus countries v this is inhabitant longevity of the sub region, which is achieved by natural and climatic conditions, mode of life and specific features of the national food.Moreover, sub region inhabitants are also characterized by traditional hospitality, benevolent attitude to foreigners and respectability of elder people. On another hand, stable tendency for growing of older peoples share will be shown in demographic scene of the developing countries. The possible perspectives of the severe growth of the pensioners life level are very tempting in there countries and free of extra expenditures. Many pensioners of the developing countries will gladly agree to spend their time in Caucasus health-resorts, taking into account the fact, that for similar expenditures they can get more services and goods. General idea of the Project is the introduction of many tourists firms and resorts of the Caucasus into International tourists market and together with foreign firms to implement a number of works concerning the services of elder people from developing countries. Objectives of the Project is the familiarization Caucasus resorts possibilities with International tourist agencies in the area of supporting of active longevity, the introduction of International standards of services in this sphere and search of foreign partners The Targets of the Project: Preparation of investment project for the commercialization of active longevity resources of the Caucasus and respective infrastructure; - organization and site services of Internet, where Caucasus resorts will be submitted; - organization of consulting and training programs for the representatives of small and medium business in the field of tourism and for the resort workers according to International services standards; - preparation and publication of methodical recommendations and information materials. It is a well-known fact, that many old people have some minor or serious changes of functioning of the main systems of organism. In comparison with the resorts of certain republic, coordinated system of the Caucasus resorts can provide a number of different methods of their compensation and treatment. Caucasus private firms can’t develop this trend individually because of the lack of finance and work experience according to International standards. In this case foreign investors’ active participation is requested. Implementation of the similar Project can promote the development of the following branches of industry: 1. Tourist firms. 2. Production of building materials, projecting, construction and repair of building and sports facilities. 3. Production of food stuffs, especially dietetic ones, exotic and ecologically pure food providing longevity. 4. Old people’s health service. 5. Applied investigations in the field of gerontology and geriatrics. 6. Communications and Transport services. 7. Commercial offices. 8. Consulting and other services. 9. Preparation of working places for the operating staff of the resorts. 10. Bank service of the above-mentioned works and investments will provide the accumulation of certain funds, which will give us a chance for financing and further improvement of the mentioned and related trends.
