An antiviral and antibacterial powerful remedy is obtained in the Institute of Molecular Biology, National Academy of Sciences of the Republic Armenia, which is conditionally named as “Zetapol”. In the medical pharmacy it is an unknown derivative of ds-RNA of calcium salt (while ds-RNA is well-known) with crucial capability to improve the immune system of the organism, increase resistance and process non specific interactive properties against the activity of functional system induced by formed antibodies in the organism. It may be very effective also at different brain virus diseases, especially under the conditions of encephalitis.
“Zetapol” was used and tested for many times, and appeared to be a unique remedy against the foot and mouth disease (FMD). It was highly evaluated by various livestock farms as in Armenia, as well as abroad. This discovery received confirmation given by the USSR State Agro-Industrial Committee of the State Committee on Discoveries and Findings (No. 206-KM, dated 11.08.1986), copyrights of the USSR State Registration (No. 1367197, dated 15.09.1987, and No. 1374494, dated 15.10.1987). “zetapol” is effective for TB (copyrights of the USSR State Registration No. 1713585, dated 22.10.1991, and No. 1374494, dated 15.10.1987) and paradontosis, which were considered incurable till recently (it has methodical recommendation of Health Ministry of Arm SSR, dated 16.03.1992).
The effective of “Zetapol” is obvious in the advertised treatment of various wounds: bullet, surgical, accidental ones. “Zetapol” has been successfully used for the treatment of proctologic diseases without performing surgical operations. It is worthy to note the powerful stimulating effect of “Zetapol” produced at the treatment of wounds: it takes place without complications, secondary infectious phenomena, etc. (copyrights of the USSR State Registration No. 1362456, A16B 17.01.1996; patent given by All-Union Sci. Res. Inst. Of patent experts of the USSR Patent Department, dated 25.10.1990, as well as by Patent Department of RA No.1072, dated 17.07.1998).
Protective vaccinations and treatment with vaccination are traditionally used methods having their certain direction against the revealed disease. “Zetapol” as mentioned above, has a property to stimulate the whole immune system, which is extra value for providing preventive measurements against viral and infectious diseases in military subdivisions. Taking into consideration all these properties, the Institute of Molecular Biology of NAS RA, expresses its willingness to pass over an experimental set of “Zetapol” if requested.
