1. Method of Definition of Indications for the operation Caesarian Section
There are absolute and relative indications of the operation “Caesarian Section”. Absolute indications are such clinical conditions, when the extraction (draw) of the fetus from uterus cavity through natural delivery tracts is impossible or inexpedient in mother’s or fetus interests.
The existence of one of the absolute indications is enough for woman’s abdominal (caesarian) delivery.
Relative indications are clinical situations when the extraction of the fetus is possible through natural delivery tracts but fraught with great risk for mother or fetus, in comparison with operation “cesarean section”. In similar cases conservative or other methods of delivery are used.
Besides there is a number of pathological conditions, being as aggravating factors, which can also be taken into account for the solution of the problem of delivery by abdominal section.
For each concrete case the number of relative indications is defined by the doctor individually which is connected with subjectivism and very often causes difficulties for final solution of the problem.
For maximum objectivity and simplification of the problem regarding to the operation special Table is prepared where all aggravating factors and relative indications are indicated in numbers by 10-numbered scale. The practical doctor should estimate of available objective data of the pennant’s state by the given Table, if the total number is equal to 10 or more, surgical intervention is requested. This Table was offered in 1980. Methodical recommendations were issued more than once and used widely by the doctors of the republic.
The Table can also be served as a support (assistance) for the doctor in cases, when he faces with rare (infrequent) pathology, particularly when it is another profile.
2. Abdominal Method of Prophylaxis and Arrest of Bleeding During the operation caesarean section
Caesarean section is one of the bloodiest operations. The application of the proposed method allows us to prevent pathological loss of blood or to arrest bleeding during this operation.
This method was proposed in 1978. Since that time more than 1000 operations have been performed by the author in accordance with this method.
Total average loss of blood was less in comparison with assumed physiological norms for normal delivery and no Pathological loss of blood occurred.
The application of the method is very simple and available for any operating doctor.
Certification on Rationalization proposal was received.
3. Method of Uterus Drainage during the Operation Caesarean Section
For disadvantageous bacteriological background aspiration-irrigation drainage of uterus is widely used after caesarean section.
After the removed of the fetus and afterbirth the T-shaped tube with money orifices is introduced to its cavity and the longitudinal end is put into vagina through the canal of the uterine neck and fixed.
Then irrigation of the uterus cavity is performed periodically.
In 1980 two variants of drainage tubes have been proposed, which in comparison with existing ones have the following advantages: They are easily cleaned during blockage and the size of the tube is reduced respectively by uterine contraction.
Both variants were tested and positive outcomes were obtained.
