Annotation
The German biochemist Otto Heinrich Warburg received the Nobel Prize in Physiology and Medicine in 1931. In particular, he proved that cancer cells can only live and develop in an acidic environment. At pH 7.1, a cancer cell cannot form, and at pH 7.4, the tumor begins to dissolve.
That is, one of the ways to treat cancer is to create an alkaline environment that suppresses tumor growth and ideally dissolves cancer cells.
In nature, this type of alkali is secreted by silkworm butterflies when they want to get out of the cocoon. The alkali that they secrete easily dissolves the silk thread and the butterfly comes out.
Ongoing studies on the use of this alkali to create drugs that inhibit the growth of tumors show that this direction is very promising.
Nature itself suggests a correct solution to the problem.
