The development refers to the electrical engineering and it can be applied for switching on and switching off powerful electric circuits. The objective of the development is simplification, cheapening of the structure, expansion of the service abilities by constitution of the complex magnetic drive contacts into the element drive made of the material with memory from effect “to store” the form which it had for heating up to a certain point and reproduce this form each time, when the detail is heated to this “storage” temperature.
The operation of the commutation device main drive was tested on the results sample in 1982. Successful results have been obtained for its commercialization and profitable production.
Commutation device consists of the sliding bearing (crosshead) 1; the spring 2 fixed between the crosshead and the sleeve 3 of the insulating material. There are movable contacts 4 and 5 outside of the sleeve located at the same axis with fixed contacts 6 and 7.
The crosshead 1 is provided with the spring 8, it also has a shelf 9 leaned on the latched element 10 pressing against the crosshead 1 by the spring 11 guides. By the one ends the latched element 10 is attached to 2 U-shaped elements 12 and 13 made of the material with memory effect the other ends 14 are in the body slots 15 and 16. On opposite side of the crosshead 1 latched element there is another U-shaped element 17 with a memory from effect, one end of which is attached to the body by the hinge 18 and the other end 19 is fixed ion the crosshead 1 slot 20. Spiral heaters 21 and 23 are located at the bending areas of the U-shaped elopements 12 -17 and connected to the network phase by circuit diagram consisting of the double-pole 24 and one-pole 25 switch.
Joint patenting of the project in abroad or joint production and commercialization are proposed for collaboration.
