It is known that the greatest torsional moment should be crossed for starting of the diesel engine. According to this development 9 (certificate of authorship N 1321898) beside the increscent of the requested level of the torsional moment: the structure is simplified, consumption of the accumulator electric energy is reduced and device reliability is increased structure and materials with heat and mechanical memory form.
Starting device consists of the cylindrical body 1 with the bottom 2 and front door 3 by which the device is attached to the engine body. Movable driving shaft 4 is located inside the body 1. The driving shaft 4 is twisted and it is made of the alloy as nitanol containing 54% of the nickel and 46% of the titanium. The drive 5 is fixed on the driving shaft 4 consisting of the pinion 6 and overrunning clutch7. The driving yoke 8 of the overrunning clutch 7 is connected with the shaft 4 and the driven one 9 – with pinion 6, There is also a heater inside the body 1. it consists of the following: siphoned 11 made of the alloy with memory from which is located between the body 1 bottom 2 and the shaft 4, burner 12 and electric candle 13 inside the siphon 11, the heater 10 is provided with heat feed system containing pipe-line 14 and 15, cylinder 16 with piston 17 and pusher 18, inlet 19 and outlet 20 valves and shaft 4 are hollows 23 are performed. Inside the body 1 movable cylindrical heat-insulated element 24 is located with the wall body 1 has an exhaust outlet 25. The axis 26 is fixed on the body 1 door 3, the pinion 6 is rested on it.
